Poker wagering is an exciting new pasttime that a number of people of all age groups have started not long ago. The recent universal appeal of televised poker tournaments have caused many people to wish to pickup the skills for poker.

Poker is a game that is composed of both ability and a very little amount of luck. There are many different styles of poker games that can be played such as holdem, omaha/8, 7 Card Stud, HORSE, and Razz. The game is bet on with a group of players wagering (normally chips, but sometimes coins). Among extremely good poker hands are four of a kind (4 cards which are all identical – like 4 Jacks), a straight (a sequence of cards like a six, seven, eight, nine and ten), a flush (4 cards of an identical suit), and a straight flush (a arrangement of cards that are identically suited). There is a further version of poker played at betting houses known as electronic poker.Video poker uses the identical rules as regular poker, but it’s a machine so you don’t play against other players, but rather attempt to acquire the strongest poker hand possible.
