Terrible Fortune in Poker

[ English ]

For a match where most gamblers occasionally consider fortune, there are tonnes of folklore in poker. When you say that a player was lucky in that poker tournament they won, be mindful of how you mention it. For example, if you say that you were unlucky, your chances may never change.

Ok, that may sound a bit ubsurd, but poker is a game loaded with folklores. Did you know that if you’re betting a game with 2 seperate decks and you’re asked to select the deck, you should always pick the deck that is the furthest away from you? Or, how about If you have a streak of terrible cards, you must sit on a hankerchief to break your horrible luck? It is actually considered good fortune to blow through a pack of cards when they’re being mixed up.

Some other interesting poker folklores are:

  • You can change the run of cards by passing around your chair 3 times.
  • The most beneficial chair at the poker table looks at the entry.
  • The worst spot has its rear to a fireplace.
  • When altering chairs, you really should constantly do so following the clock.
  • The most detrimental poker card is the 4 of clubs.
  • It is very unfortunate to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
  • Sun is a horrible day for playing cards.
  • The thirteenth is also a horrible day, despite when it falls during the week.
