Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not need to worry about other, more skillful individuals taking their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make quick selections.

It’s also simpler to enjoy for a long time with only a small amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
