Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the wild west in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, unlike most other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about any other, more advanced people winning their cash.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game pace, novices are able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty choices.

It is also much simpler to wager on for a long time with basically a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
