In Advance of a Tilt

Ah, the tilt. If a poker gambler claims never to have peered down the barrel of an approaching tilt – they’re either lying or they have not been wagering for a long time. This doesn’t imply obviously that everyone has gone on tilt in the past, some people have wonderful control and take their losses as a loss and leave it at that. To be a good poker player, it is very important to appraise your wins and your losses in a similar manner – with no emotion.
