Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a fantastic game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about other, more experienced players taking their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game pace, newcomers will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty choices.

It’s also much simpler to play for a very long time with just a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one two card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
